Meet Me at the Museum set
Meet Me at the Museum will be held from noon to 1 p.m. on Tuesday, March 28 at the Johnson-Humrickhouse Museum. Bring a lunch or enjoy some snacks on the museum as you casually discuss a new topic at each meeting.
Did you know March is National Craft Month? Come take a peek at the history of the arts and crafts movement in America, which extended from the late 1800s into the 1920s. Ohio stands out as the home of many pottery firms, so we’ll look at some of the museum’s pottery pieces from this era. Do you have any craftspeople in your family tree? Or do you yourself practice a craft such as pottery, woodworking, quilting, basket-making, embroidery, jewelry, metal work, etc. If so, we would love for you to bring something in to share.
No registration is needed. This program is offered at no charge and made possible with the support of the Joe R. Engle Museum Gallery Fund of the Coshocton Foundation. The Johnson-Humrickhouse Museum is located in Historic Roscoe Village at 300 N. Whitewoman St. in Coshocton. Museum hours are Tuesday – Sunday, noon to 4 p.m. and all Sundays are free admission to Coshocton County residents.
