Michael C. ‘Mike’ Holder

Michael C. “Mike” Holder, 74, of Winter Haven, Florida, formerly of West Lafayette passed away at Winter Haven Hospital on Friday, Dec. 3, 2021.

Mike was born in Coshocton on March 2, 1947, to the late Charles and Cecilia (Lauvray) Holder. He proudly served in the US Navy; he was a true American Patriot. Mike retired from AEP Conesville plant after 39 years. He was a lifetime member of the NRA and V.F.W. Mike enjoyed spending time outside, hunting, fishing, boating, cutting firewood, riding his bike and woodworking.

He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Linda S. (Warden) Holder; children, Michelle (Mike) Force of Wooster, Craig (Brandi) Holder of Altamonte Springs, FL and Julie (Randy) Leist of Coshocton; six grandchildren, Kristina (Marcus) Hughes, Zach Force, Lexi (Gaige) Crabtree, Spencer (Nicole) Holder, Alexis Zittrauer and Kylee Leist; five great-grandchildren with one more on the way; and his mother-in-law, Marna Warden of Coshocton.

Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Suzanne McCluggage; and father-in-law, Ed Warden.

Friends may call at The Miller Funeral Home, 639 Main St., Coshocton on Saturday, Dec. 11, 2021, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. where funeral services will begin at 1 p.m. with Lloyd Tenney officiating. Interment will follow in Coshocton County Memory Gardens with Coshocton County Veterans Honor Guard performing military honors.
