Michael ‘Mike’ A. Jones

Michael “Mike” A. Jones, 75, of Coshocton passed away Monday, Feb. 28, 2022, at the Coshocton Regional Medical Center. He was born in Coshocton, Ohio on December 5, 1946, to the late Kenneth and Jean (Courtright) Jones.

Mike graduated from Warsaw High School and served in the United States Navy from 1966-1970 during the Vietnam War. He retired from Clow Water Systems after 46 years of service. Mike was a very ornery man and loved many things in life including, watching his children and grandchildren’s sporting events, coaching baseball and softball and bowling. He was an avid Ohio State Buckeyes and Green Bay Packers fan. He also has an extensive collection of M&M dispensers. Some were filled with his favorite candy, Peanut M&M’s.

Mike is survived by his wife of 56 years, Linda L. (Fisher) Jones; children Andrew (Mindee) Jones and Amy (Anthony) Cox; grandchildren Alison and Aiden Cox and Sydney and Colton Jones; sisters Lori (Jeff) Nichols and Kelly (Joe) Tignor; and several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at the Miller Funeral Home, 639 Main Street Coshocton, Ohio 43812 on Saturday, March 5, 2022, from 11:00am – 1:00pm with funeral services beginning at 1:00pm with Pastor Ric Bonice officiating. Burial will follow at Coshocton County Memory Gardens where the Coshocton Veterans Council will be performing military honors.

Following the graveside services the family will be receiving friends and family at the Coshocton Elks Lodge from 3:00pm – 5:00pm for some time of food and fellowship. An online memorial is located at www.themillerfuneralhome.com.
