Motorcycle Club donates bikes

| July 21, 2020

The Flat Broke motorcycle club partnered with local ice cream shops, the Freeze, the Dari-Hut, and Dari-Land to host a bicycle giveaway. They were recently able to present 12 lucky kids with new bikes and also had numerous gift certificates from the ice cream shops to give away. The club bought several of the bikes and they also had some donated by Char and Steven Valentine from Sixth Street Tattoo and three motorcycle clubs from Zanesville –  the Only Ones MCC, Rare Blood MCC, and Iron Legacy MC. Donations from Bobby McCormick also were received to help buy extra gift certificates. “There were some very happy kids on Saturday (July 18) and it made us happy to be able to give back to our community but we couldn’t have done it without the help of our local ice cream shops and businesses, and the people in our biker community,” said Jesse Conrad, president of the Flat Broke group. “Hopefully we can make this a yearly event and maybe expand on it.”
