Museum to close in January for renovations

| December 21, 2019

COSHOCTON – JHM will be closed during the month of January for renovations. Before the closure, enjoy the holiday season with free admission and the joy of giving. The museum is offering free admission during Christmas break (Dec. 21-29).

The building was constructed in 1979 thanks to the generous donations from the community and the Montgomery Foundation. It’s time for a face lift, and once again, Hathaway Inc. is helping the museum brighten the place up. Keep an eye on social media for updates and information about gallery closures.

Staff has started a remodel to update the entire building. The renovation gives them the opportunity to update exhibits and displays. Next time you visit, be ready for a whole new experience.

The Johnson-Humrickhouse Museum is located in Historic Roscoe Village at 300 N. Whitewoman St. Museum hours are noon to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday.
