Museum to host children’s program

| June 21, 2017

COSHOCTON – The Johnson-Humrickhouse Museum invites children ages 5 to 9 to participate in “Sing it, Play it, Dance it” on Wednesdays in July from 11 a.m. – noon. Program begins on July 5. Experimentation is the melody line for this children’s class. Each week, we will make music with uncommon objects and construct a simple instrument. Song, movement and improvisation will be woven throughout. The goal is to learn about music rhythm, tempo, dynamics and melody while playing with sound. Samantha Servais and Patti Malenke will be conducting the program. The cost for each session is $3 or $2 for those with Friends Family Memberships. Reservations are required.

For more information or for reservations contact the museum at 740-622-8710 or email jhmuseum@jhmuseum.org. The Johnson-Humrickhouse Museum is located at 300 N. Whitewoman Street, Coshocton.
