Myron Lowe
FRAZEYSBURG – Myron “Marty” Lowe, 82, died Monday, Dec. 25, 2017 at his residence.
He was born Aug. 30, 1935 in Muskingum Co. to the late Kenneth and Opal (King) Lowe. He married Mary Jane (Guthrie) Lowe on June 25, 1976, who preceded him in death on Sept. 12, 2017. He was a retired welder form Owens-Corning. He was a steam fitter and pipe fitter union member, worked at Kaiser Aluminum and on the “Big Muskie”. He was a member of the Granville Masonic Lodge. He loved being outside enjoying nature, hunting, spending time with family, and sitting on his front porch watching the world go by.
He is survived by his children, Sue (Tim) Loomis of Martinsville, IL, Randy (Maureen) Lowe of Techachapi, CA, Dan Lowe of North Fork, CA, Tina (David) Sherrell of Paris, IL, Jennifer Cannon of Dresden, Jason (Drema) Lowe of Frazeysburg, Brian (Shannon) Lowe of Frazeysburg; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Betty Lowe of Zanesville, Ellen Byers of Martinsburg, Ruth (Rev. Arthur) Ball of Newark, Marjorie Ward of Coshocton, and Judy Guthrie of Frazeysburg; several nieces and nephews; his many care givers, especially Demi Armes; and his dogs, “Rosie”, “Frosty”, and “Pedro”.
In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Kenneth “Duane” Lowe and Bural (Wanda) Lowe; mother of his first four children, Judith (McCoy) Barrick; brothers-in-law, Robert Ward, Dale and Gary Guthrie; and brother-in-law, John Byers.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 30, 2017 at the Fischer Funeral Home in Warsaw. Burial will follow in Valley View Cemetery. Calling hours are from 4-7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 29th at the funeral home. www.fischerfuneralhome.com
