Nancy Lee (Leitner) Brown, 82, died Sunday, July 14, 2024 at Genesis Hospital in Zanesville.

She was born July 28, 1941 in Mayville, MI to the late Rex Leitner Sr. and Virginia (Bolton) Leitner. She was a homemaker, and enjoyed gardening and sewing. She attended church all her life, most recently at New Beginnings in Warsaw. She was musically talented, played piano and accordion, and sang at church. She lived her life for the Lord and her family.

Nancy is survived by her husband of 61 years, Daniel L. Brown of Frazeysburg, whom she married June 22, 1963; their three children, Karen (Dan) Downing of Cambridge, Scott Brown of Frazeysburg, and Regina Tigner of Newark; grandchildren, Aaron (Kilee) Downing, Nathan (Julie) Downing, Chris (Paula) Downing, Elisabeth Downing, Brandon Downing, Justin Brown, Meghan Brown, Shea Tigner, Seth (Halley) Tigner, and Drew Tigner; great-grandchildren, Millie, Zeek, Ellie, Liam, and Ameana Downing, Nevaeh, Aurora, and Thalia Tigner, Bryden, Tucker, and Charlotte Tigner, and Luke, Lylah-May, and Lola McGee; sister, Sharon Brown of Mississippi, brother, Rex Leitner Jr. of Mississippi, and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Milton Leitner, Tom & John Leitner; and a sister, Mary Leitner.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, July 19, 2024 at Fischer Funeral Home in Warsaw, with Heath Waters officiating. Burial will follow in Valley View Cemetery. Visitation is Thursday, July 18th from 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home. FischerFuneralHome.com
