Neal to speak at next Lenten Luncheon

| March 21, 2025

The Rev. Neal Dearyan will be the speaker at the fifth Coshocton County Lenten Luncheon on Wednesday, April 2.

His message will address the theme “Connecting to God Through Wisdom.” The luncheon is held at The Presbyterian Church, 142 N. Fourth St., across from the court square. The event begins at 11:45 a.m. and ends at 12:45 p.m.

Dearyan is the pastor at Crossroads Baptist Church (formerly Chili Crossroads Bible Church). His congregation currently meets in the lower level of the Roscoe Village Visitor Center and holds special group gatherings at Kids America. His message will be based on the Biblical text taken from Psalms 15 and 119. His wife, Julie Dearyan, will introduce him, read the scripture and provide special music.

Church Women United, led by Christa Citola, Kay Dunfee and Karen Bowman coordinate the churches that provide the soups, pies and workers for each Luncheon.  Members of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes volunteer their time to assist the workers.

Churches assisting with the fifth luncheon will be New Life Ministries, Coshocton Christian Tabernacle and Solid Rock Foursquare Churches. The suggested $5 donation benefits Church Women United’s Clothe a Child Project. The group purchased a new outfit and a pair of shoes for 100 children in Coshocton County in the past year.

Parking is available adjacent to the church and in the city parking lot at the rear of the church, accessible from Chestnut Street.
