New agriculture, natural resources educator hired
OSU Extension Coshocton County announced the hiring of Chris Allen as the agriculture and natural resources educator.
Allen has worked his agricultural career in swine production, contract production management, training and compliance, as well as genetic and animal health sales. He is a graduate of River View High School, and he holds a BS in agriculture (animal science major) from Ohio State. He served in the US Army and Army National Guard.
Chris and his wife Tina own a small farm in southwestern Coshocton County, and they are parents to four children. Chris currently serves on the Ohio Pork Producer’s Board, Fellowship for Christian Athletes Leadership Board, and is an elder at Perry Chapel Baptist Church.
