New information received in 2021 case
The Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office received additional forensic information regarding the death of G.Y. (DOB: 4/30/20) that occurred on Aug. 10, 2021. As a result of the new information, 36-year-old Kristen L. Neff of Coshocton was taken into custody.
The Coshocton County Prosecutor’s Office is reviewing the case for a decision on formal charges. A search warrant was also executed on this same day at the 900 block of Squarewood Street in Coshocton in relation to this case.
On Feb. 27, 2024, Neff of Coshocton was formally charged with child endangerment, a felony to the third degree. Neff is currently in the custody of the Coshocton County Justice Center and being held on a $75,000 cash or surety bond.
