New practice board installed at CHS tennis courts
COSHOCTON – The 2017 Coshocton High School Tennis Booster Club raised funds to build a practice backboard for the players and community to use. Under the leadership of Shantelle Coffman, president, the booster club reached out and did several fundraisers during the 2017 tennis season. Funds were secured and the construction of the new practice backboard was installed recently. The following individuals and businesses supported the project: Greg McFarland, Jerry and Mary Stenner, Jim and Sherri Wiandt, Mike and Christine Frankland, Pete and Marie Madsen, Matt and Christy Gauerke, Dr. John Snyder, Terry and Ann Miller, John and Renate Laaper, Dr. Don Tupper and family, Dr. Todd Salmans and family, Bill and Cheryl Blatt, Dick and Pam Baker, Dave, Amy and Kyle Shutt, Bob and Toni Timmons, WTNS Broadcasting, Magness Eye Care, Ed Milligan, and Ann Simpson. Thad and Shantelle Coffman painted and installed the practice backboard and Jamie Helter constructed it. This brand new addition to the CHS tennis courts will be enjoyed by not only the tennis team, but players throughout the community.
