NHS group helping with relief efforts in Texas

NEWCOMERSTOWN – The Newcomerstown High School Teen Leadership Corp has teamed up with the Sugarcreek IGA and the Corrpro/Aeigon Company out of Medina to collect and transport supplies to help with the relief efforts in Texas.

Supplies in demand are: Non-perishable food items, cleaning supplies, socks, underwear, personal hygiene items, towels, pillows, blankets, pet food, diapers, baby wipes, baby formula, etc. There will be collection boxes at the high school, middle school, east school, and west school. Teen Leadership Corp also will have collection boxes at the following athletic events as well: Varsity volleyball game on Wednesday, Sept. 13, junior high football game on Thursday, Sept. 14, and varsity football game on Friday, Sept. 15.
