Nickolas A. Fortune

Fortune003 obitWARSAW – Nickolas Anthony Fortune, 32, of TR 33, died Tuesday, Jan. 12, 2016 at his residence.

He was born Nov. 20, 1983 in Wooster to Michele (Arnold) and Scott A. Fortune. He was a 2002 graduate of the Coshocton Christian Tabernacle, and worked for DK Manufacturing. He enjoyed collecting Coca-Cola antiques, cars, and was his brother Skii’s best gaming buddy. Mostly, he loved his son. They enjoyed doing Karate and going to the woods together.  He was known for his sense of humor, and was a good father, son, grandson, and brother.

He is survived by his son, Preston Fortune, and Preston’s mother, Hope Fletcher, his parents; Michele (Jon) McFarland, and Scott Fortune, both of Warsaw, a brother, Skii Fortune of Warsaw, four grandparents; Jack & Susan Arnold, Judy Fortune, and Judy McFarland, all of Warsaw, several aunts and uncles; Jack Jr. & Cris Arnold, Lita & Rusty Grudier, and  Randy Fortune, all of Warsaw, Tammy & Richard Guilliams of Conesville, and his favorite great-uncle, Richard “Dick” McGrady of Warsaw, two step-sisters; Brittany & Chelsea McFarland, as well as several cousins. 

He is preceded in death by two brothers; Lukas & Garrett Fortune, a grandfather, George Fortune, and four great-grandparents; Joe & Jessie McGrady, and Robert & Dorothy Arnold.

Visitation will be held from 10:00-11:00 a.m. Friday, Jan. 15, 2016 at the Fischer Funeral Home in Warsaw.  A graveside service will follow at 11:30 a.m. at the McGrady Family Cemetery near Warsaw, with Bob Pettit officiating. www.fischerfuneralhome.com
