Norma Jean Miller
Norma Jean Miller, age 90, of Fresno, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 17, 2023. She was born on September 4, 1933, in Coshocton to the late Clenneth “Skeet” and Alvertus (Turner) Lower.
On September 24, 1950, she married Jacob C. Miller who passed away just after their 70th wedding anniversary in 2020.
Norma enjoyed baking, gardening, caring for her home, watching her son play baseball and spending time with her loving family.
She is survived by her son, Mitch Miller of Fresno, daughter-in-law, Janet Miller of Fresno; three grandchildren, Monica, Joshua and Ryan Miller; 12 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren; brother-in-law, Larry Dolick, sister-in-law, Emma Welling and several nieces and nephews.
Along with her parents and husband, Norma is preceded in death by her son, Michael Miller, grandson, Todd Miller, infant great-grandson; three sisters, Nelda Dolick, Rosemary Grimm, and Jane Hoak; and two brothers-in-law, George and Bill Miller.
A private graveside service will be held at a later date at Coshocton County Memory Gardens. Given-Dawson-Paisley Funeral Home is serving the family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Norma’s name may be made to Community Hospice or the Coshocton County Animal Shelter.
