Nothing found after bomb threat reported at Common Pleas Court
COSHOCTON – Around 1:26 p.m. on Tuesday afternoon Nov. 7, a bomb threat was reported at the Coshocton Common Pleas Court building on Main Street.
The fire department was called in and sheriff’s deputies blocked off the area. Sgt. John Glasure, with the Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office, said businesses in that block of Main Street were cleared and so was Montessori Preschool and banks in the area.
“They searched and didn’t find anything,” Glasure said. “It sounds like it was a hoax.”
The threat was received by the Coshocton County Juvenile Court and the incident remains under investigation by the Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office.
Assisting at the scene were the Coshocton Fire Department and REACT.
