Off-street parking available in downtown area

Following a year where many in our community saw their lives upended, there is still much to be grateful for in the City of Coshocton. Recent business openings in the Downtown Historic District have given a shot of adrenaline to Main Street. The momentum is here, buildings are being maintained, and folks are anxious to get out and enjoy local businesses once Covid-19 is behind us.

The expression good problems to have often comes on the wings of success, and yes, we are talking about parking. City officials have listened to the local business community and customers alike and they want to draw attention to already available parking.

As it stands there is ample off-street parking that would go a long way in assuaging this issue. The City of Coshocton and Our Town Coshocton would like to take the opportunity to provide a map to indicate these two public parking areas behind the 400 block of Main Street.

Coshocton is going with the tide of momentum, especially the downtown, and as the community celebrates the many successes it must also be prepared for inconveniences as people adjust. However, now is the time to be as accommodating as we can for folks who come to Main Street for business, recreation, and appointments.
