One injured in CR 55 accident
On Nov. 18, 2021, at approximately 11:24 p.m. the sheriff’s office received a phone call in reference to an injury accident in the 45000 block of County Road 55 in Jackson Township.
Upon arrival of emergency personnel, it was determined that Emily Stepp, 25 years old, of Coshocton was traveling west on County Road 55 in a 2014 Chevy sedan, when her vehicle crossed the center line going off the left side of the roadway. The vehicle continued striking an embankment, coming to a rest in a ditch along the road.
Stepp was transported by emergency squad from the scene to Coshocton Regional Medical Center for the extent of her injuries. Alcohol is believed to be a factor in the crash.
Assisting the sheriff’s office on scene was Coshocton County EMS and Prince’s Wrecker Service.
