One taken by MedFlight after 2 vehicle crash

On Feb. 2, at approximately 2:20 p.m., Coshocton County Sheriff’s office received a 911 call in reference to a two vehicle accident with injuries in the 20000 block of State Route 16 in Jackson Township.

Upon arrival of deputies, it was determined a grey Chevy truck being operated by 34-year-old William P. Cline of Newcomerstown, rear ended a silver van being operated by 71-year-old Mary K. Madison of Coshocton, while she was turning into a driveway. Two juveniles were also in the vehicle with Madison at the time of the crash. Both drivers were wearing seat belts at the time of this accident.

Madison was flown from the scene and taken to Ohio State University Hospital due to the severity of her injuries. Cline was transported by medics to Coshocton Regional Medical Center. The two juvenile passengers of Madison’s were also taken by medics to Coshocton Regional Medical Center. This accident is still under investigation at this time.

Assisting the Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office on scene were Coshocton County EMS, Jackson Township Fire Department, Coshocton City Fire Department, Three Rivers Fire Department, MedFlight, Coshocton County React and Princes Wrecker Service.
