Patricia Coleen Arnold Carpenter

Patricia Coleen Arnold Carpenter, 92, passed away peacefully in her sleep on February 6, 2025, and is now at rest. Patricia was the daughter of Samuel Levillion and Sarah Grace (Fry) Arnold, born on May 12, 1932. She grew up in Warsaw, and married Robert Merle Carpenter after graduating from Warsaw High School. She worked many jobs throughout her lifetime, and was helpful and kind to all who knew her. She loved God, and served him through her service to others. She was a member of the Church of Christ while she raised her kids, but was active in several other churches throughout her life, both in Coshocton as well as in Florida, where she and Bob wintered. She didn’t know a stranger, and always greeted her friends and family with a hug and kiss. She was always kind and forgiving.

She is survived by Christi Carpenter (Edward) Gallagher, Rick E. (Amy) Carpenter, and Wendi A. Lahmon. She is survived by 14 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren; Haley (Mihir Torsekar) Gallagher, Emilie (Harlan Alford) Gallagher, Jenny (David Blom) Gallagher Blom, Noah (Jo-Ann) Gallagher, Hannah Gallagher, Patience (Steven Frankland) Gallagher, Rob (Lindsey) Carpenter, Kate (Aaron) Alt, Ryan Kelling, Levi (Toni) Kelling, Walt Kelling, Nathanael Kelling, Matthew (Hannah) Kelling, and Seth (Nacole) Kelling, and 27 great-grandchildren, Ryan Torsekar, Will and Asher Blom, Joey and Caleb Gallagher, Tristan, Riley, and Thomas Gallagher Bufkin, June and Nell Frankland, Gideon, Asher, and Zimri Kelling, Logan(Amy), Kaden, Carson, and Savannah Kelling, Ava Kelling, Madeline, Timothy, AnnaBelle, and Benjamin Kelling, Braylon and Iris Kelling, Vivian, Carly, and Eli Carpenter, and Rio Alt. She loved each and every one of them, and they loved her. She had an especially close relationship with her nephew Larry Layman, who was like a brother to her. She also loved her other nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death beside her parents are her sister and brother, Louise Sycks and Lewis Arnold, son in law Timothy Lahmon, nephews, and several sisters- and brothers-in-law.

Calling hours will be on Saturday, March 1, from 11:00-1:00, at Miller Funeral Home at 6:39 Main Street, Coshocton, and a Celebration of Patricia’s life will follow at 1:00.
