Patrick “Neil” Cox

COSHOCTON – Patrick “Neil” Cox, 44, of Newark passed away Sunday, October 28, 2018 at his mother’s home.  He was born in Coshocton on May 4, 1974.

He worked for Burden Fabricators and was a member of the Coshocton Baptist Church.  He loved playing lead guitar in his band, Grinder (A Scarred Existence) He also enjoyed collecting antiques and electronics.

Neil is survived by his daughter Megan Cox; father Jim (Trish) Cox; mother Sherry (Ronald) Ditto; grandfather Eugene Cox; brothers Ryan Chaney and James Cox; step siblings Toby Koeller and Jana Ruth; Nephews Leiland Chaney and Brant Cox; and niece McKenna Cox; his canine companion, Molly; and several cousins and friends.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents James and Wanetta Cox and Jean Faye Cox; and best friend Elaina Pingledis.

Friends may call at the Miller Funeral Home, 639 Main St., Coshocton, Ohio 43812 on Thursday, November 1, 2018 from 5:00pm – 7:00pm.  Cremation will take place following the services.  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be directed towards the Miller Funeral Home to help defray funeral expenses; envelopes will be available at the funeral home.  An online memorial is located at www.themillerfuneralhome.com
