Paul Alexander Hamilton

Fresno:  Paul Alexander Hamilton, 61, known to his many friends as Pepper and whose high school friends knew him as Hoss, of Fresno passed away suddenly at his home on Monday, March 3, 2014.

Born on August 13, 1952 in Waterbury, Connecticut, Paul was the son of the late Oliver Wendell and Margaret Elizabeth (Coffey) Hamilton.

Paul is owner, operator of Hamilton Trucking and has done long distance commercial hauling in every state in America.  Formerly of Maryland, Paul had moved his business to Ohio to settle and retire in the beautiful valley of Fresno and to be “far from the toot of the angry horn.”  Paul had a free spirit and loved to travel the roads in America on his motorcycle.

He truly will be missed by his daughter Brandy (Robert Hogg) Hamilton of Ottawa, Ontario Canada; son, Kirby Hamilton of Eugene, Oregon; sisters, Terry Hamilton (Darryl) Carter of Victoria, BC, Canada, Marianne (Karen) Hamilton of Santa Monica, California, brother, Mark Hamilton of Sunol, California; favorite aunt, Shirley Ann Hamilton (Dale) Duncan of Goldthwaite, Texas;  three nephews Dylan  and Barrett Carter, Miles Hamilton and many more relatives and friends all across the United States and Canada. In addition to his parents, Paul was preceded in death by a brother Ralph Coffey Hamilton.

A Remembrance Time of Paul’s life will be held at 8:00 P.M. Friday, March 14, 2014, at the Free Funeral Home, Coshocton with Cremation following.  Internment of the Cremains will be in the Coffey-Hamilton plot at RiversideCemetery in Orono, Maine.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 4:00 P.M. and 6:00 to 8:00 P.M.,  Friday, March 14, 2014 prior to the sharing of memories.
