Paul “Joe” Blair

Blair, JoeCOSHOCTON- Paul Joseph “Joe” Blair, Jr., 63, of CR 297, died Sunday, June 1, 2014 at the Coshocton Co. Memorial Hospital Emergency Room.

He was born Sept. 6, 1950 in New Martinsville, WV to the late Paul J. and Joann C. (Howell) Blair.  He was a 1969 graduate of River View High School.  He married Rhonda A. (Allen) Blair on July 22, 1973, who preceded him in death on Jan. 23, 2014.  He served in the United States Army National Guard, was a laborer and a millwright, and he owned and operated “Joe’s Coshocton Sharpening” since 1998.  He enjoyed carpentry and wood-working, and he loved spending time with his grandchildren.  He was a devoted member of the Coshocton Church of God for over 40 years.

He is survived by a son, Allen (Teri) Blair of Milton, IN, a daughter, Dianna (Louis) Tarone of Lewis Center, six grandchildren; Cody, Trey, & Christiane Blair, and Allison, Olivia, & Matthew Tarone,  two  great-grandchildren, two brothers; Jim “String” (Chavonne) Blair, and John (Beverly) Blair, a sister, Elaine (Ronald “Whitey”) Ashcraft, all of Coshocton, and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 6, 2014 at the Coshocton Church of God with Pastor James Childers officiating. Burial will follow in Branch Cemetery. Calling hours will be held from 5-8 p.m. on Thursday, June 5th at the Fischer Funeral Home in Warsaw.  www.fischerfuneralhome.com
