Paula (Carroll) Myers

COSHOCTON – Paula Sue (Carroll) Myers, 66, of Coshocton and formerly of Zanesville and Adamsville, passed away at 12:35 A.M. Wednesday, November 21, 2012 at Coshocton County Memorial Hospital.

Born September 19, 1946 in Zanesville, Paula was the daughter of the late James Albert “Bill” and Ruth Leota (Barnhart) Carroll.

A 1965 graduate of Adamsville High School, Paula had been employed as a meat cutter for the former Zanesville Gibson Meats and later operated a day care for children both in Zanesville and Coshocton.

On May 20, 1989, Paula married Jesse Bennett Myers who preceded her in death on February 21, 1992.

Paula had been a volunteer Bingo Caller at the Adams Lane Care Center, Zanesville and was an avid Steelers Fan. She was a member of the Coshocton Alliance Church.

Surviving are four brothers John Carroll of Otsego, Jeffrey Carroll of Woodstock, Rodney Carroll of Zanesville, Timothy Carroll of Adamsville; four sisters Joyce (Dan) Hamilton, of Glenford, Andrea (Sam) Mitchell of Adamsville, Kathy Carroll and Holly Hennessy both of Zanesville; several nieces, nephews and a special friend Jackie Krause of Coshocton.

Services were held at 2:30 P.M., Saturday, November 24, 2012 at the Free Funeral Home, Coshocton with Pastor Bert Kinsey officiating.  Entombment followed at the Coshocton County Memory Gardens Mausoleum.

Calling hours were held from 12 Noon until 2:30 P.M., Saturday prior to the funeral.
