Franklin, Pauline-newspaperPauline Franklin, 95, of Warsaw passed away at 4:00 A.M., Thursday, December 12, 2013 at the Coshocton Health and Rehabilitation Center.

Born January 14, 1918 in Battle Creek, Michigan, she was the daughter of the late Earl and Elsie (Thomas) Willbur.

On March 7, 1943, she married John W. Franklin and the couple owned and operated Franklin Plumbing in Coshocton for many years.

Pauline was a member of the Prairie Chapel United Methodist Church and enjoyed bowling, dancing, playing cards and planting flowers. Pauline had many devoted family members and friends and she brought joy to all. She loved life and lived it fully. The Ohio winter months would find the couple living in Lake Placid, Florida which Pauline continued the same pattern after John’s death March 18, 1989.

Surviving are a sister Betty (Duane) Downing of Nashville, Michigan and four sisters-in-law LaRue, Doris, Dorothy and Martha Willbur; and many loving nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband and parents, Pauline was preceded in death by seven brothers Duane and wife Myrtle, Bruce and wife Joanne, Kenneth, Don, Larry, Roger, Gordon Willbur; a sister Cecile and husband Boyd Good.

Services will be held at 1:00 P.M., Tuesday, December 17, 2013 at the Free Funeral Home in Coshocton with Pastor Dail Parrish officiating. Burial will follow at Prairie Chapel Cemetery.

Calling hours will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Monday, December 16, 2013, and until time of services on Tuesday at the Free Funeral Home.
