Peddicord honored at auction

auctioneer benchCOSHOCTON – Herb Peddicord, from Peddicord Rice Auction Realty, was honored at the Coshocton County Fair for his many years of dedication to the Junior Fair Auction Sale of Champions. “He started in the auction business in 1953 and has donated endless hours to this community,” said Greg Rice, who works for the same company and also helps at the auction. After Rice shared a few words about Peddicord, a special bench made for him that featured gavels on each arm rest was unveiled. “The gavel has been his trademark for 60 plus years in the auction business,” Rice said
