Peggy Moore

CINCINNATI – Margaret A. “Peggy” Moore, 77, died Wednesday, August 27, 2014 at Christ Hospital in Cincinnati following a lengthy illness.

She was born in Coshocton on Nov. 2, 1936 to David Samuel and Mary Beatrice (South) Moore.

She was a 1954 graduate of Union Local High School, Warsaw, Ohio and attended Dr. Brown’s Lab School as well as LPN School.  She was employed at Christ Hospital for 37 years as a LPN and received much recognition for her work there.

Peggy was a Cincinnati Reds fan and had been active in the “Rosie Reds”.  She liked traveling and, in retirement, often played dominos.

She is survived by a niece, Nancy Moore of Columbus and two nephews, David Moore of Frazeysburg, Robert Moore and his wife, Kelly and their daughter, Madelyn “Maddie” Moore all of Delaware, OH.  Also surviving is a sister-in-law, Alice S. Moore of Frazeysburg.

Preceding her in death were her parents and her brother, C. Edwin Moore.  Also a special aunt, Duna Moore Thomas and long-time friend Mary Carole Altevers.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, August 31, 2014 at 4:00 p.m. at the Fischer Funeral  Home in Warsaw with Rev. Karl Hoffman officiating.  Burial will follow in the West Carlisle Cemetery.  Visitation is one hour prior to the service on Sunday.  www.fischerfuneralhome.com
