Plans made for All-Ohio Brew Gallery

| June 14, 2014

COSHOCTON – The Johnson-Humrickhouse Museum is celebrating the Great Ohio Bicycle Adventure’s visit to Coshocton by transforming its special exhibit gallery into the All-Ohio Brew Gallery.

Craft beer on tap from the Millersburg Brewing Company will be served from 4 to

6:30 p.m. Monday, June 16 and 1 to 5 p.m. Tuesday, June 17. On the kick-off day, Monday, Wildwood Music will be performing. The museum’s new special exhibit, Advertising Art of Coshocton, will be on display. Wall space from floor to ceiling is covered in trays, signs and calendars that were made in Coshocton from 1890 – 1950. The artwork is wonderful. Images of the good life — sweet children, sexy women, handsome dogs, far-away places — beckon you to buy this beer or that tobacco.

The All-Ohio Brew Gallery is a tribute to Ohio — a place of beauty, industry, music and art. Stop by and take it all in. Museum admission is $4 for adults, and your admission receipt will get you a half-priced beer.
