DSC_0224WARSAW – The Brunswick High School Marching Blue Devils took home the grand champion band trophy from the River View Black Bear Marching Band Invitational held on a beautiful fall afternoon at Don Rushing Stadium on Saturday, Oct. 15. Besides Brunswick, the adjudicated event had the Coshocton, Ridgewood, Newark, New Philadelphia, Shenandoah, Union Local, Cambridge and Louisville High School Marching Bands scheduled to perform. RV senior Will Fornara and Everett Hall are pictured with one of the many trophies presented to winners by seniors in the RV band.

I started my journalism career in 2002 with a daily newspaper chain. After various stops with them, I am happy to be back home! I graduated from Coshocton High School in 1998 and received a Bachelor of Arts in Communication in 2002 from Walsh University. I also earned several awards while working for daily papers, including being honored by Coshocton County’s veterans for the stories I wrote about them. I am honored and ready to once again shine a positive light on Coshocton County. I also am the proud mother of a little girl named Sophia!
