Public health district present Coffee with a Doc
Coshocton Public Health District will present Coffee with A Doc, on Monday, Oct. 21, featuring Dr. Kamesh Gupta from Genesis Healthcare System.
The event topic for October is gastroenterology. The event will take place on Monday, Oct. 21 at 5 p.m. at Rust Décor, located at 341 Main St. in Coshocton. Parking is available in front of the business and along Main Street. This event is free with no prior registration required. Rust Décor is providing a free coffee drip with the opportunity to purchase other beverages and snacks.
Dr. Gupta joined the Genesis Digestive Disease Specialists in July 2024, specializing in gastroenterology. Dr. Gupta earned his medical degree at the Armed Forces Medical College in Pune, India. He completed his internal medicine residency, gastroenterology and hepatology fellowship at UMass Chan Medical School-Baystate, Springfield, Massachusetts. Dr. Gupta specializes in advanced gastroenterological procedures, including EGD, push enterostomy, small bowel video capsule endoscopy, ERCP and colonoscopy. He is board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine. When not at work, he enjoys playing soccer, reading books, and playing drums to blow off some steam.
It is the mission, at Coshocton Public Health, to ensure equitable access to care, prevent diseases, promote healthy behaviors and protect the well-being and health environment for all community members. By offering this event each month, staff is gaining insight to what is truly needed by the adult population in Coshocton County.
