Montgomery001COSHOCTON – Ralph Noble Montgomery, 88, died Saturday, Feb. 11, 2017 at Coshocton Springs Health & Rehabilitation.

He was born Aug. 18, 1928 in Coshocton Co. to the late Emery and Hettie (Shaw) Montgomery.  He served in the United States Marine Corp. during the Korean War, and later worked at Cyclops (AK Steel) until his retirement.  He married Linda (McCollum) Montgomery, who preceded him in death on April 29, 2003.  He enjoyed his grandchildren, collecting coins, camping, and traveling, wintering for many years in Clearwater, FL and spending the spring & fall in Myrtle Beach, SC.

USFlagSunlightHC1311_X_300_C_YHe is survived by three children, Greg (Vicki) Montgomery of Coshocton, Mike (Gina) Montgomery of Newcomerstown, and Pam (Eric) Addy of Coshocton; eight grandchildren, Cheri Ogle, David (Cheryl) Ogle, Dawn Hammond (fiancé Rick D’Ostroph), Heather (Mark) Gardner, Michael Montgomery (fiancé Jessica Ferrell), Carrie (Mike) Weibel, Lexi Montgomery, and Colin Addy; thirteen great-grandchildren; and two sisters-in-law, Delores Montgomery and Ruth Schwab, both of Coshocton.

In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by a brother, Paul Montgomery.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, Feb. 17, 2017 at the Fischer Funeral Home in Warsaw, with Pastor Mark Granger officiating.  Burial will follow in Prairie Chapel Cemetery.  Visitation is one hour prior to service time at the funeral home.   www.fischerfuneralhome.com
