Randall Lawrence “Andy” Gindler
COSHOCTON – Randall Lawrence “Andy” Gindler, 39, of Coshocton, Ohio, formerly of Gonzales, Texas passed away on Monday June 18, 2018. Andy was born in Austin, Texas on August 8, 1979 to Bruce and Lisa (Farek) Gindler. He married Heather R. Bush on January 26, 2016. He had been a member of the First United Methodist Church.
Andy attended the University of Texas and was currently working as a B.O.P Testing Supervisor in the Oil and Gas Industry. He was a devoted fan of the Texas Longhorns, Dallas Cowboys, Texas Rangers, San Antonio Spurs and all of Cooper’s sporting activities. Andy never lost his Texan roots or love of anything Texas, including refusing to change his Texas driver’s license after moving to Ohio, but he did learn to appreciate Ohio State athletics, the Cleveland Browns, Cavaliers and Indians. Andy loved to take his step-son Cooper hunting at the family ranch and to Cavalier and Indians games. He enjoyed trips to Las Vegas, the beach and working cattle. He delighted in ordering off the menu, eating anything from Luling City Market, Golden Chick with the spicy packets, chocolate milk, crab cakes, hot wings, Sonic Strawberry Limeade and Jeny’s hot sauce. He was an avid gardener like his grandfather Gindler and grandmother Farek but held a sincere distaste for yard work. He loved to shop and dress himself fashionably. He enjoyed fireworks and singing all genres of songs to his beautiful wife Heather.
He is survived by his loving wife Heather R. (Bush) Gindler, daughter, Carli Gindler; step-son Cooper George all of Coshocton, OH, parents, Bruce and Lisa Gindler of Gonzales, TX, brother and sister-in-law, Brent and Kayla Gindler of Gonzales, TX, grandparents Marion “G” Gindler of Gonzales and Eldon “Paps” Farek of Gonzales; aunts and uncles Carol Farek (Who was the second mother to both Andy and Heather) of Gonzales, TX, Missy (Lee) Elmore of Dallas, TX and Jack (Maureen “Mo”) Gindler of Austin, TX; nephew Briggs Avery Gindler; father and mother-in- law Dave and Ruth Bush of Coshocton, OH.
