Raymond Earl Kirker

WEST LAFAYETTE – Raymond “Ray” Earl Kirker, 67, of West Lafayette passed away Monday, July 2, 2018 at The Ohio State Wenxer Medical Center in Columbus.  He was born in Coshocton on September 16, 1950 to the late James W. and Betty J. (Booth) Kirker.

Ray graduated from Tri-Valley high School in 1968 and has worked for Fairmont Foods, Carnation/ Kraft Research and Development, was an Auxiliary Patrolman for the Coshocton Police Department before retiring from AEP after nearly 25 years.  He was a member of the Coshocton Sportsman’s Club, loved to ride motorcycles, go fishing, tending to his garden and sharing his vegetables with his family and friends, and most of all he loved spending time with his family and granddaughter, Maddie “Cupcake”.

Ray is survived by his wife of 46 years, Diana (Bradford) Kirker; son James Kirker of West Lafayette; daughter Shelly (Tim) Larrison of Kimbolton; granddaughter Maddie Larrison; brothers William (Tammy) Kirker of Applecreek and Kelly (Jackie) Kirker of Coshocton; sisters Sharon (Butch) Vincent of Newark, Debbie Kirker of Florida and Becky (Edward) Dickerson of Coshocton; sister-in-law Vicki Kirker of Massillon; his dog, Lance; and several nieces and nephews.

Along with his parents he is preceded in death by his brother Michael Kirker; two half-brothers Jimmy and Kenny Kirker and his mother-in-law Jeannette Mardis.

Friends may call at the Miller Funeral Home, 639 Main St., Coshocton, Ohio 43812 on Friday, July 6, 2018 from 11:00am – 1:00pm with funeral services beginning at 1:00pm with Steve Young officiating.  Interment will follow at Darling Run Cemetery, Warsaw, Ohio.  An online memorial is located at www.themillerfuneralhome.com
