Release Time Ministry to hold open house

| August 9, 2019

COSHOCTON – This fall, students in grades K-three at Conesville Elementary will have the opportunity to participate in Release Time Ministry during their electives period.

Those with parental permission will be walked across the street to the Conesville United Methodist Church for a bi-weekly, 30-minute lesson on character development. There is no cost to participate.

Pastor Cindy Massie, director, is excited to be offering this Bible-based LifeWise Academy curriculum.

“The support of the River View School Board and the Conesville elementary administration has been amazing,” she said. “RTM is only possible through the support of area churches and individuals in our county. I am certain it will have a positive influence not only on the students who participate, but on the entire school.”

The RTM classroom in the church will be open Wednesday, Aug. 21, from 5:30 to 7 p.m., which coincides with the Conesville Elementary Open House. RTM volunteers will be on hand to explain the program and answer any questions.  Release Time Ministry is a division of Stand for Truth, a national ministry directed by Joel Penton.
