Rep. Bill Hayes endorses Cliff Biggers in 72nd Ohio House District Primary Race
COLUMBUS – State Representative Bill Hayes (R-Harrison Township) endorsed candidate Cliff Biggers in the primary race for the 72nd Ohio House District.
Hayes released the following statement:
When I made the decision not to seek re-election to the Ohio House next year, I wanted to make sure that the next person to hold the seat would be a strong and accountable leader who shared the values of the 72nd District. That is why I encouraged Cliff Biggers to run for the seat.
A loving husband and father of four, Cliff Biggers understands that public service is not about serving one’s own needs, but rather the needs of the community. He has demonstrated that purpose throughout his life, not only through his words but more importantly through his actions. As a veteran of the United States Navy, he has put his life in harm’s way to defend the country he loves. As a pastor for 25 years, he has provided a calm voice to men and women seeking spiritual guidance, as well as shelter for those in need of a roof over their heads. His background in law enforcement and local government has equipped him with the experience and knowledge to keep our system fair and our streets safe.
These are just some of the many reasons why I am proud to stand up and support my good friend Cliff Biggers for the 72nd House District seat. His demeanor, pedigree and dedication to serving his community qualify him to serve in the Ohio House of Representatives.
