RHS volleyball team gets big sendoff

WEST LAFAYETTE – The Ridgewood High School Varsity Volleyball team was sent off to the state volleyball tournament knowing they have the support of the entire district.

Students and staff from the high school, Ridgewood Elementary and Ridgewood Middle School lined the sidewalks to cheer the Lady Generals Nov. 7, as they headed out on their bus to travel to Wright State University for their state semifinal match.

Ridgewood will take on Gates Mills Gilmour Academy at 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 8. This will be the Lady Generals first ever appearance at the state volleyball tournament.

Tickets for the game are available until 2 p.m. today, Thursday, Nov. 7, at the board office. They are $7.
