Richard “Dick” E. Kinneer

Richard “Dick” E. Kinneer, 89, of Coshocton passed away Sunday, Oct. 11, 2020 at his home. He was born at home in Zanesville on July 31, 1931 to the late Earl and Sarah (Hughes) Kinneer.

Dick served in the United States Army during the Korean War and worked for the Ohio Department of Wildlife as an officer for 28 years before retiring. He was a true outdoorsman; he loved fishing, rabbit hunting, mushroom hunting, and playing euchre.

Dick is survived by his wife of 36 years, Nancy (Burdine) Kinneer; children Tonya (Butch) Sammons, Lori (Glen) Dobbins, Janna (Dick Jones) Kinneer, and Joseph Kinneer; step children Kathy (Don) King, Jodi (Mark) Stipes, Jennifer Stover, and Jan Miller; grandchildren Colt (Carley) Sammons, Shannon Sammons, Sara Lauvray, Kate Arnett, Jeremiah Edie, Josie Kinneer, Crosby (Ashley) Stipes, Collin (Kara) Stipes, Rachel (Ben) Gross, Adam (Jennifer) King, Sarah (Chris) Latier, Rebekah (Tommy) Kussmaul, Karli (Eddie) Moreno, Shana Berry, Devin Berry, and Kaden Lewis; 24 great grandchildren; brother Larry Kinneer; and several nieces and nephews.

Along with his parents Dick is preceded in death by his son Rick Kinneer; granddaughter Brandy Broadwater; and brother Jim Kinneer.

Private Services will be held for the family. The Miller Funeral Home and Crematory is handling arrangements. An online memorial is located at www.themillerfuneralhome.com.
