Richard F. “Dick” Rice
Richard F. “Dick” Rice, 77, of Coshocton passed away on Tuesday July 9, 2024, at his home with his loving family by his side.
Dick was born in Coshocton on February 1, 1947, to the late Foster O. and Leola (Stewart) Rice. He honorably served in the United States Navy and retired from Ansel Edmont after working thirty years.
Dick enjoyed woodworking, spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and was an avid golfer.
He is survived by his loving wife Cheryl E. (Baker) Rice; children Joseph F. Rice of Coshocton and Tina (Ian) Sipe of Lakeville, Ohio; grandchildren Garrett Rice, Addison Rice, Kailee Rice, Brie Bischoff and JT Bischoff; niece Teresa Boals and nephew Jeff (Brandi) Hawk.
Along with is parents, he is preceded in death by his sister Mary Jean Hawk.
Friends may call at The Miller Funeral Home, 639 Main St., Coshocton on Monday July 15, 2024, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM where funeral services will begin at 1:00 PM with Mark Granger officiating. Interment will follow in Coshocton County Memory Gardens with Coshocton County Veterans Honor Guard performing military honors.
