Richard Parks
Richard Parks, age 72, of Coshocton passed away on February 13, 2025 at his home. He was born on October 11, 1952 to the late James “Budd” Parks and Edna L. (Domer) Almack. He attended Ridgewood High School before starting his job as a truck driver. He would work for Balo Logging, William Albert and Walhonding Valley Sand and Gravel during his working years. He also had a job at Almack’s Greenhouse. Richard was a jack of all trades, working in his garden or on his vehicles. He loved being outside, whether he was camping, fishing, mushroom hunting, or playing horseshoes. He also enjoyed NASCAR Racing. He was always helping family, friends and other people.
He is survived by his stepmother, Ruth Ann Parks; siblings, James E. Parks, Mark Parks, A. “Tony” Parks, Linda Bush, M. Esther Dusenberry, H. Ray Parks, Bobba Stone and many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his stepfather, Clarence Almack; siblings, Donald L. Parks, Patricia Boring, Billy Parks, Delah (Louise) Parks and Charles (Martha) Almack; brother and sister-in-law, Larry Dusenberry and Shirely Parks.
Calling hours will be at The Miller Funeral Home on Tuesday, February 18, 2025 from 3pm to 6pm. A funeral service will begin at 6 pm at the funeral home with Pastor Mark Granger officiating.
