Ridgewood falls to Triway
WEST LAFAYETTE – In girls soccer at Wooster Triway, the Lady Titans defeated Ridgewood 2-0.
Goal Keeper Karrie Bluck was outstanding in goal for the Lady Generals stopping 23 shots including two breakaways.
Marian Gehring got Triway on the board at 32:42 in the first half.
The Ridgewood defense of Hollie Schwab, Mallory Simmons, Winter Preston, and Brianna Grace held the Titans scoreless until 4:09 to go in the game. Abby Daley scored on a counter as Ridgewood was pushing forward in the final minutes looking to equalize.
Ridgewood travels to Harrison Central on Saturday.
