Rita Gail Damron
WESTERVILLE – Rita Gail Damron, 55, went to her Heavenly Home on Saturday, Feb. 17, 2018, in Westerville, OH after a lengthy illness. Rita was born on May 15, 1962 in Pikeville, KY to Lowell and the late Sarah (Duty) Damron.
She is survived by her father, Lowell Damron; siblings Karen (James) Dotson, Trudi (Pat) LeMaster, Troy Nace, Pamela (John) Spires, and Kevin (Perla) Damron. She was a loving aunt to 9 nieces; 3 nephews; 4 great-nieces and 3 great-nephews.
Gail was a graduate of Westerville North High School Class of 1980. She spent much of her life caring for the elderly in many homes in the Westerville area. She was an avid fan of Elvis Presley and wrestling.
Family will receive friends on Wednesday, Feb. 21, 2018, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Columbus NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Rd, Columbus, OH 43231. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 21, 2018, at 12 p.m. also at Newcomer NE Chapel. She will be laid to rest at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
