River View board seeking public input

| September 9, 2019

WARSAW – The River View Board of Education will meet in regular session on Thursday, Sept. 12. The meeting will begin at 7:30 p.m. in the administrative building.

As part of this meeting, the River View Local School District will be seeking public input for the use of federal monies under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act for the 2019 – 2020 school year. The purpose of IDEA monies is to help pay the excess costs of providing special education and related services to children and youth birth to age 22 with a disability and served through an IEP.

Funds may also be used to support professional development activities to teachers and to provide training for parents of children with disabilities. The River View Board of Education welcomes suggestions for expending the IDEA monies.

Please feel free to contact Sheri Fortune, special services coordinator at 740-824-3523.
