River View girls place 5th at sectional
WARSAW – River View finished fifth overall with an outstanding 378 team score, missing the cut by four strokes in their sectional debut.
Top four teams and top four individuals not on a district qualifying team go to the next level.
River View’s scores were: Marie Stufflebean – 86 (fifth individual); Emma Anderson – 96; Kailyn Shalosky – 97; Shelby Byland – 99; Peyton Werntz – 106.
Team finishes were: First – Beaver Local; second – John Glenn; third – Indian Valley; fourth – Garaway; fifth – River View; sixth – Strasburg; seventh – Minerva; eighth – River Local; ninth – Claymont; 10th – Sandy Valley; 11th – Ridgewood; and 12th – Tusc Central Catholic.
