River View Lady Bears shut out Beaver
WARSAW – Peyton Werntz didn’t allow a single run against Beaver, throwing a complete game shutout and leading River View to a 14-0 victory on May 8.
Bella Heddleson led River View to victory by driving in six runs. She went 2-for-3 at the plate.
River View also smacked two home runs on the day. Gracie Dunlap had a four bagger in the first inning. Heddleson went for the long ball in the first inning.
River View collected 11 hits. Krystek, Heddleson, and Werntz each had multiple hits for River View. Krystek went 3-for-3 at the plate to lead River View Lady Bears Varsity in hits.
