River View students collecting socks

| October 10, 2018

WARSAW- The Teen Leadership Class of River View High School is sponsoring a Sock Drive Oct. 3-22.

Every night in the United States an estimated 600,000 people live on the streets. This October, the Teen Leadership class wants to prove that even the smallest act of kindness, like donating a pair of socks, can make a big difference in the lives of our neighbors who are homeless. All socks that are collected will be donated to the less fortunate and the elderly.

The new socks will be collected at all of the buildings in the district, along with several donation box locations around the community. These donation boxes are located at the courthouse, Shopwise, the Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office, and the Warsaw Fire Station. If you have any questions, you can e-mail rvteenleadership@rvbears.org or call 740-824-3522.
