River View walks away victorious over Dover
WARSAW – The River View Lady Bears beat Dover 4-2 on April 23.
River View scored three runs in the sixth inning. Gracie Dunlap, Peyton Werntz, and Bella Heddleson all moved runners across the plate with RBIs in the inning.
Werntz led the Lady Bears to victory on the pitcher’s mound. She surrendered two runs on eight hits over seven innings, striking out four and walking zero.
River View racked up 11 hits in the game. Dunlap and Heddleson all managed multiple hits for River View. Dunlap went three for four at the plate to lead River View in hits.
