Road construction projects announced

SR 16 is scheduled to be restricted to one lane with temporary signals for one week beginning Monday, April 11, between Stillwell Road and Burvil Road.

SR 16 will then close for two weeks in the same area beginning Monday, April 18, for continued drainage work and culvert replacements. During the closure, motorists will still be able to access Stillwell Road and Burvil Road. Detour: SR 16 to SR 60 to SR 541 to SR 16.

Motorists also can expect daily flagged lane closures for resurfacing on SR 93 from SR 541 (south of Plainfield) to U.S. 36. Estimated project completion is June 2022.

Resurfacing of SR 93 will begin between U.S. 36 and West Lafayette on Monday, April 11. ADA curb ramp construction will also begin in West Lafayette and Plainfield.
