Robert L. Fry

Robert L. Fry, 93, of Coshocton, died Monday, September 26, 2022 at Altercare of Coshocton.

He was born June 15, 1929 in Walhonding to the late Lester R. and Opal P. (Fox) Fry.

Robert was a U.S. Army veteran serving from 1947 to 1954.  He was a retired Steel Worker and a 48 year member of the Roscoe United Methodist Church.

He is survived by his daughter, Christy Yurjevic and son, Michael (Jackie Whitcomb) Fry.  Grandchildren, Christopher Yurjevic, Ryan (Tonya) Yurjevic, & Conner & Matthew Fry.  Great grandchildren, Liam, Cameron, & Chezney Yurjevic, Michaela, Kristina, & Paige Luikart.  A brother, Richard (Nora) Fry, and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Shirley (Ferne) Fry, whom he married Nov. 1, 1952, she died Apr. 5, 2002. Also a  daughter, Cynthia E. “Cindy” Fry, an infant son, Bruce, and siblings, Milton Fry, Virginia Mencer, & Zelma Thompson.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, September 29, 2022 at the Roscoe United Methodist Church at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Bob Mitchell officiating.  Burial will be at a later date.  Visitation is one hour prior to the service at the church.  The Fischer Funeral Home in Warsaw is handling the arrangements.  www.fischerfuneralhome.com
