PANAMA CITY BEACH, FL- Robert Lee “Bob” Thompson, 79,  passed away Saturday, October 20th, 2018.

He was born November 27th, 1938 in The Plains, Ohio to the late Melvin and Lena Margaret (Powell) Thompson. Bob was a 1956  graduate of West Lafayette High School. He was a proud veteran and served in the United States Air Force for twenty years.  After retiring from the armed services, he moved to Panama City Beach, Florida and had a long career in sales.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Jean (Fear) Thompson of Stratford-on-Avon, England, whom he married December 17, 1960; two children, Della (Gina Willis) Thompson of Jacksonville, Florida, and Clint (Heather) Thompson of Atlanta, Georgia; two granddaughters, Ivey and Kendyl Thompson; a sister, Dorothy “Jane” Fleming of Coshocton; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Thomas Frank “Tom” Thompson and a daughter, Tammy Sue Thompson.

A private service, date undetermined, will be held in Panama City Beach, Florida. www.fischerfuneralhome.com
