Robert R. Ramsey
Robert Ray Ramsey, 44, died Sunday, Sept. 5, 2021 at Licking Memorial Hospital in Newark.
He was born July 17, 1977 in Newark to Freeman Marshall Ramsey and Dottie (Anderson) Ramsey Wilson. He worked as a handyman and did odd jobs in construction for many years, until an automobile accident left him unable to walk.
Robby was a character. He was a stubborn, funny guy who loved telling stories and making up silly songs. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and adventures in the woods with his cousins. He watched the History Channel & Travel Channel, and Japanese anime. He was also a big Bengals & Raiders fan. He loved playing games online and horsing around.
Robby loved his family and children, and his nieces & nephews. He loved being a dad and uncle.
He is survived by eight children, Kage Ramsey of Newark, Trinity Ramsey of Warsaw, Savannah Ramsey of Warsaw, Isaiah Ramsey of Warsaw, Silas Ramsey of Heath, Magnolia Ramsey of Heath, Emerlinn Ramsey of Heath, and Noah Faught of Newark; his mother, Dottie Wilson of Warsaw; sisters, Crystal Ramsey of Warsaw, Donna (Anthony) Smith of Buckeye Lake, and Amanda Wilson of Warsaw; and several nieces & nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Freeman Marshall Ramsey; his dad, Gary Charles Wilson; and a cousin, Raymond Wills.
Visitation will be held at the Fischer Funeral Home in Warsaw on Friday, Sept. 10, 2021 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., with cremation to follow.
